It all began…
… when Andrew Parker started his horticultural career at 19 years old when he attended Ryde School of Horticulture and achieved an Associate Diploma of Applied Science (Landscape).
By 23 years of age, Andrew was entrusted with the Head Gardeners position in Hyde Park which included the 2000 Olympic period when Sydney was on the world stage. He led a team of gardeners to present the park with the highest of standards.
After doing some travelling and working overseas,Andrew returned to his home town of Sydney to start his own business.
Since then,Andrew has achieved the highest ranked Strata Complex in the Randwick City Councils Garden Awards, in the Best Professionally Maintained category, 3 years in a row. He has recently received the awards for the Best Small Garden, Best Vertical Garden and Grand Champion for 2019.
Andrew’s love for people,plants and animals has been the driving force behind his 25 years in the horticulture industry. As an owner/operator of the Strata Living Landscapes team, he is always available to his clients and appreciates the relationships that have been built over the many years.
